What is a coaching agreement? When you enter a store there is a shop assistant who asks you: “How can I help you?”. When you take a taxi, the taxi driver asks you: “Where would you like to go?”. In any professional relationship, the probability of a successful outcome is highly dependant on the professional’s understanding of what the client seeks. Without this understanding the shop assistant has a very low chance of recommending you the right product, the taxi driver has a very low chance of taking you where you want to go, and the coach has a very low chance of making the conversation useful.
